It's not the strongest team in the world by a long shot, but it's relatively decent everywhere because it has a bit of everything to cover gaps. It has a solid, mobile damage-dealer who can attack most positions from most positions, in tandem with the other's bleeds, or lance, or projection. It has the ultimate generalist who can function anywhere and cover gaps - (beit healing, stress-healing, stunning, de-shuffle, etc). It has the best safety-net healer in the game (who can contribute a stun and a bit of projection in downtime). It has the strongest stunner in the game (also potent DoTs and heal-capable). Alternatively, you can also specialize for the challenge(s) ahead, but if you're not sure about all that, then focus on good catch-all comps.įor example, the team you get at the start of the game is relatively solid because: Sticking solely to a Vestal in all content becomes a very wobbly crutch.Īs for the question itself - in a general sense: the majority of strong teams are those which cover many bases. I used that against the Flesh boss, for example. Where XX can be anyone who fits into position 4 (Vestal, Arbalest is what I typically use so Flag doesn't have to be primary healer and can focus on damage). Arb/PD on the back, Leper/Flag/Occ on the front.Ī bleed team I've used a bit: XX - Hound - Flag - Hellion. Actually the HWM-Crusader is the crucial part, the front and back can be switched out for a lot of different options. I'm really bad at remembering team comps, the only one I use frequently enough to remember is Vestal - HWM - Crusader - Hellion. I have never run with fixed teams, I always mix and match depending on where I'm going and who's in good shape to go. You can have more than that in your roster though.
